cat replacement

    2007 with 260000 miles on it. p0420 code. what's the cheapest way to go about getting the cat converter to work or replacing it? anyone use LKQ to pick up a used one?

    Some states do not allow you to buy or install a used CAT.

    In CA where the cars doesn't need to be smogged, it wouldn't matter if you have a bad cat

    I live in texas. they won't inspect if the cel is on.
