'catfish' the internet fraud

    Last year, I found out someone was using my photos to catfish women. He stole dozens of my online photos – including selfies, family photos, baby photos, photos with my ex – and, pretending to be me, he would then approach women and spew a torrent of abuse at them.

    Another reason I have virtually nothing online. That picture of my car over on the left is about the only one out there. I was already in that camp but my wife was required not to put any pictures on the net because of the nature of her law enforcement job. We've stressed how dangerous it could be to our family and friends and fortunately they've complied with our wishes.

    I must admit I neglected to mention I have a credit card out there too. It's a Visa card and not tied to any bank accounts. I intentionally keep a small limit on it and repay it in full every month when my SSI check comes, before I use the SSI for anything else.
