I'm having a frustrating problem that I haven't seen described in other posts. I have a 6 cd changer that worked really well for years, then suddenly stopped working in that it would play a cd for a minute and then stop. After noticing this problem, my car battery died. I thought the failing car battery was the cause of the cd problem. So I started playing them again and the player worked! For about 2-3 days until it started having similar problems. However, I could sometimes get the player to play again for at least 30 minutes straight without a bump or complete stop through a combination of turning the cd system off and reloading the cd. Could it be that my battery isn't connected properly? I have done a test and it should be well connected, but that is a concern. Should I just take some compressed air to the unit? Is a mechanic or electronics specialist really the only way to go? For reference, my car has over 148k miles now and I really don't have money to pour into this. Thanks in advance for any helpful comments.
