Center Console Lid Latch

I am trying to recover my armrest and I took the center console latch off. In the process, the 2 screws (that are captured inside latch mechanism) worked themselves out and are rattling around inside the latch. I can't reattach the latch without getting these screws lined back up. I've played with magnets, tried small screwdrivers, and held my mouth in every imaginable angle. Is there a way to take this latch apart without destroying it or should I just head to a junkyard to find a replacement?
