Changed 12v battery and now fuel consumption gauge is inaccurate

    changed battery and now fuel consumption gauge says I can go almost 600 miles on a tank of gas! How do I reset it in a 2010 Prius?

    If you didn't use a memory saver when disconnecting the 12 volt, all the trip meters and what have you lose whatever is stored. I would chalk it up to that.

    it's just a default. your car will need to relearn your driving habits
