We just changed 12v battery in my 2001 Prius and now the odometer and mileage isnt there. I had only 2 bars missing of gas now the last bar is blinking. Has this happened to anyone? What can I do to fix this?

After you replace the 12V auxiliary battery, the gas gauge memory will be lost, so it will take several minutes for the gauge to register the correct amount. If after some time has elapsed, the gas gauge doesn't come back up to 8 bars, please reply.

The MFD mpg and mile reading will reset. The trip odometers also will reset. You'll also have to restore the driver's side window auto function and the radio presets.

The cumulative odometer reading should remain unchanged.

Thanks so much for the information. The dash lights came back and after I drove a couple miles the gas registered correctly.
