I ordered my Prius last week and my Kansas City Dealer told me the '08 is no longer available so he has me "on the list" for an '09 which he says is liitle changed from the '08.
I have read various reports about the '09 - from little change to quite a change. Anyone with special inside knowledge they'd like to share?
I am having a difficult waiting until October!!!!
    :attention:

No changes to the 2009 Prius expected. Big changes due for the 2010 model due to start production in April 2009.
See details in the new 2010 Prius Forum.

I heard that based on the results of a wide-reaching survey conducted by General Motors, the '09 Prius will not be a hybrid model because, as the survey indicated, "Americans aren't ready for hybrids, there is no fuel concern, the rewards are not worth the investment, and blind people fear for their lives."

Boy....that does pretty much summarize the ignorant American position. But hey GM and others will give you free gas or rediuced price gas to continue buying and driving their gigantic SUV's which gets 12 MPG. What a deal!

    Something to keep in mind:
2008 Lexus LX 570 12MPG City 18 HWY (Premium gas)

2008 Toyota Land Cruiser Wagon 4WD 13 City 18 HWY

    2008 Toyota Sequoia 4WD 13 City 16 HWY
