How long can the car be left in the charging bay when connected to ChargePoint charging. Also for Priuse 2012 how long it takes to charge. Thanks in advance.

How long CAN it be left at the charger? Till they kick you out on a public one, but that's not so nice for others who will want to charge.

How long does it take to charge? I think @4est is pretty close, assuming you're talking about an L2 charger such as the Charge Point.

Fortunately, some charge point owners will keep racking up fees, as the meter continues to run as long as the car is plugged in if somebody becomes an inconsiderate squatter, which would otherwise not only deny charging to other plugin people who need to charge, it would also deny profit to the charge point owner, or the storefront operator.
Everyone seems to understand the principle that, parking right in front of the grocery store doors might be very very convenient, but it blocks the store from being entered - not allowing other customers to enter the store - which effectively screws over the store owner & other customers.

that's a great idea, they should all do it. and the free ones should start charging money at some point.

Some store owners want Chargers to be free just to bring in new/other customers. Free is great, & when the charge is complete? Yeah- fees can start when the person charging changes over from a person charging, to a person camping. It's a pity society needs to enforce considerate behavior ....
Who among us hasn't seen an obviously healthy person in a handicap spot jump out of their car & jog into the store. They must give those placards out like candy on Easter Sunday. The least they could do is fake a limp on the way in.

i know from personal experience that many docs give out handicap placards, vision letters and assistance animal letters to anyone who asks. it's easier than a fight, and not going to get them in trouble.
