ChargePoint issue

    Went to Consumers Energy to charge my Prime only to find out the J1772 plug won't insert into my charge port, I kept pushing and pushing and PUSHING! So I finally looked at the end of the J1772 and found this ( see pic). I promptly got out my house keys and pried it out of the connector. It charged fine after the removal of the rubber gasket. 20170421_193234.jpg

    Yep. On the EVSE that came with the first-generation Plug-in Prius, that gasket was orange. Eventually, Toyota started telling people to just remove and discard the gasket.
