This will give a whole new dimension to instant messaging. Fun, maybe George Barris would like them, but NOMP (notonmyprius) I think the name "Pimpstar" says it all.

I have to say that's actually pretty cool. I don't think I'd ever get them, but I still like them.

Yeah, I agree there.

I hope they wouldn't prove to be a distraction to another driver and cause an accident. My wife finds those spinner-type hubcaps distracting.

 

And you would quickly be ticketed. Most states have penalties for showing porn on in car TV's that are visible from the outside. The law would simply classify these under this law and you'd get a nice hefty fine.

I think this would be great if I had a business and wanted to advertise, especially if I needed to keep changing the ads...no need to keep creating new hardcopy signs and it really gets noticed. Although I suppose you could do the same thing with an LED sign in your vehicle window. :huh: Actually, that makes me wonder if these rims might violate some regulations regarding vehicle lights, hmmm.

I didn't see how much the rims cost. My guess it would be way too much to consider buying just for the bling factor with out having a worthwhile message to put out.

 

I wouldn't put them on the Prius but the Expedition.....hmmmm???

I can think of several times I pull up to a stop light and look beside my car where there is a vehicle with spinners. It feels like you are moving so you hit the brakes then you notice they aren't moving, they just have spinners.

 

Thank goodness I am not the only one who this has happened to!
