    According to this article:
Chevrolet shows it's serious about Cruze Eco | detnews.com | The Detroit News

"The Eco model, for example, includes air shutters that can open or close part of the grille to improve the car's aerodynamics."

Current MPG ratings are expected to be 27 City and 40 Hwy, though the article notes they are trying to improve the city rating.

Hmm. Seems like a future hybrid Cruze would be beat even the 50 mpg Prius capability. Why wouldn't GM make a hybrid Cruze right at the start?

I'd rather have shutters that open or close based on engine temp vs air temp.

Every car is perfect when it is "coming," once they are here, you have folks who do not like this and that. To run a perfect business every product has to be "coming."

Computer Science perfected vaporware, but GM has adopted it.
