Clean Air Stickers -California

    Does anyone know if there is a Database for these? If you get pulled over do they run your sticker number??

    The sticker number is associated with the VIN and they give you a card that must be carried with the vehicle registration. You are busted if the VINs on card and registration don't match.

    Law Enforcement in California use CLETS (California Law Enforcement Telecommunications System). CLETS will inform officers of any 'special' licenses registered under the driver or the vehicle.

    HOV stickers are included here. Officers are able to look it up in about 4 seconds.
