Has anyone found a clean way to tap into the 20-pin connector that has the VSS wire and steering wheel controls on it?

I used T-Splice connectors on the PAC-SWI cables which was extremely tight, I'm not sure if I can fit another T connector on those wires. not to mention the wires are ultra fine and I'm always worried I'll break them.
additionally, I hear that the VSS signal has to be very clean since it has a lot of variation in current which is what the NAV unit measures. I'm not sure a splice will achieve a high enough quality connection.

I'd love to find a male connector that fits on that 20-pin harness.

Anyway, I'd be thankful of any ideas.

It would be really nice to find a Molex plug and/or harness, so we can solder instead of splice. If anybody finds a source, please post it.
