It wasn't the smartest thing to do. Was getting 48 mpg after cleaning EGR system. Figured for $8 a can, why not clean the ol' MAF sensor? Maybe I'd get 52 mpg? Wrong! My mileage dropped down to 40- 41 ish. Now back up to 47 mpg about,1500 miles later. I am not touching it again :) Today was my best day ever, 56 mpg. I did baby it, but very happy with that number!

Next time disconnect the 12v battery.

You will see the results faster and it will not take 1,500 miles.

I did exactly that, on 3 different occasions. 3rd time was the charm :).
