So, my 2017 Prius Prime does have a filter over its cooling vents, but the charging vent under the passenger rear seat is lacking such a filter.

I wanted to see if the charging vent fan was dirty so I looked at how I can get access to it. Turns out, it's pretty simple. Just yank the front right and front left of the seat and it comes right off!

Then, there are just two clips holding the fan conduit in place. Take them off and push the conduit aside. There, you have access to the fan and clean it if needed. Mine turned out to be pretty clean already. Just some dust that I blew out using compressed air. Make sure you don't overrev the fan!

Takes just a few minutes and gives a peace of mind
