Climate control OFF for warmup

    I am now driving my first 2 or so miles with the entire climate control off. I seem to be getting and extra 1 or 2 mpg per tank. Weather is mild right now so this is easy to do. This works very well on my 1 mile runs to the hardware store on the weekends.

    I do it in winter even though we rarely go below zero. Seems to help.

    Especially since the heater is supplemented by an electric element for fast warmup and the ICE is running regardless of the heater setting...

    Do you really see an improvement..
    Anyone with a Canview ever take a reading?
