clock spring

changed the clock spring, no air bag still. phone button answer turns down radio, hang up changes channel, voice dose nothing, mode switch changes channels not mode. volume only turns it down, no up, the cruse does work. Replace with 84306-0E010, this is the replacement for an 04 Prius. noticed that there is a tab that wont let the plug go in all the way. Is there different cables and plug that could be used. I am getting real good at pull the wheel. did I do something wrong or is the the wrong clock spring for an 04?
