I just tried it and it worked. I had trouble with the TISKey.exe file not extracting properly, but was able to get around as described in "step 5". The registry edit file worked flawlessly. Using the software I was able to register a new smart key for my 2012 Gen III.
Would either of you feel like making a copy of the original post with full attribution and your experience? The reason is this would be a great 'sticky' for this forum. I would but I don't have a modern Windows on my PC emulator. I'll get a new Windows if I ever need to upgrade my PC emulator. Bob Wilson
