I installed the lockpick specifically selected by Coastal tech for my non dvd 2005 with satelite radio (added last year by the dealer).

The override features work great but I loose the 3 sat radio modes and gain a "factory dvd' mode.[/b]

I checked the connections twice and then removed the lockpick. I sent an email to Coastal a couple of days ago, but haven't heard back.

    Any suggestions?? Thanks

Hmmm. Interesting. I hope you are not offended by this, but if you press the aux dash button instead of the a.m. dash button, this will happen. Are you pressing the a.m. button to get to the Sat 1, 2, or 3 choices?

Does the voice activation of the sat radio work?

It may also be that the sat radio has lost power some how. ? No power = no recognition by Lockpick.

I am by no means an expert here (but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night-just kidding!). I have an '05 with the ultimate lockpick, XM Sat radio and a DVD player.

Wiring harness issue I bet. I've seen a number of busted Coastal Tech harnesses.

Thanks for the thoughtful replies. Coastal folks also replied it is likely a harness issue. I will send it back and try another one. Thanks again!! No offense to any suggestions by the way.....
