While driving today I saw two local coca cola bottling company cars making rounds to several different stores. Both were super white with the red coca cola emblems on the front doors. Maybe by them using a fuel efficent car, they will lower the prices of their product. NOT

Here in Charlotte they use them as fleet cars. I see two or three every day. One lives down the street from me! :)

    Hi Mick,

I think NOT, is correct. Remember, CocaCola is made with corn sweatener, and they are burning that stuff in cars now as Ethanol! Corn prices are at an all-time high.

We've got them, too. They're cute.

Wonder what Pepsi is going to do to compete? Go with a Hummer, or put a guy on a bicycle?

Bud ought to be using the Clydesdales for local trips. :)

35503_toyota-prius-01-1024x617.jpg Coca-Cola Bottling Company Consolidated (CCBCC) operates a fleet of 2,500 light-duty vehicles, 400 of which are Toyota Prius. The company expects to realize $8,000 in bottom-line savings over 100,000 miles. During the expected 100,000-mile use period, the fleet will emit just 35,250 lbs. of CO2 instead of 105,700 lbs. — a reduction of 67 percent in GHG emissions. "Being green is saving gold!" said Bo Calloway, director of fleet assets.
