Which colors do you think are best in the '06 lineup when it comes to hiding dirt?

My speculation would be (worse to best):
    - Black
    - Barcelona Red
    - Super White
    - Magnetic Grey
    - Seaside blue
    - Silver Pine Mica
    - Driftwood Pearl
    - Classic Silver Metallic

For interiors I would think (worse to best):
    - Bisque
    - Dark Gray

For material I would think (worse to best):
    - Fabric
    - Leather

    What is your opinion?

i largely agree, but i think the magnetic gray will hide dirt better than you think. my last car was a dark gray and i never saw dirt on it...

Here in Vermont where they salt the roads very heavily most of the long winter, white is very close to Silver Metallic for hiding dirt, since our dirt is mostly salt and turns fairly white when it dries on the car. I have a silver metallic Honda and a white Subaru so this is not a guess.

Where I live we have Driftwood Pearl colored dirt, and I usually drive 2 or 3 miles a day on dirt or gravel roads. So my Driftwood car, even though it isn't my favorite color, works fine for me.

My previous car had tan leather upholstery and it was definately better than the Prius Ivory fabric stuff. But I was plesently surprised to find the Ivory fabric in the Prius cleans up much better than I thought it would. Usually a wet sponge will do the trick.

Sliver and Gray do very well. We do not get salt but they put sand on the roads. Mud flaps really help keep the car cleaner.

I agree with the list. Probably a few variations here and there but I agree with the general positions on the list. I think it's easier to spot a dirty Salsa than a Seaside. Might be a tad harder with Barcelona since it's lighter.

You know, once you properly detail your car (wash, clay, polish, glaze, seal) which will take half a day with a dual action polisher, you can wash your Prius in weekly in less than 30 min and nothing, nothing will stick to the surface.

Then you can just enjoy your favorite color with out accumulating months of dirt.

My mother has always had coffee-colored carpets. But for a car, I think any color will show dirt.
