    Hi all,

I've got a prius 2004 model. The other day I went to the local dealer to have the HV battery checked and I was told that they could not communicate with the car. They use toyota's handheld scanner. They also tried techstream software with toyota's vci. No communications.

The funny part is that I have the techstream software with the miniVCI and I can communicate with the car as normal. I replaced the brake fluid a while ago.

How might this happen? I can't understand. Please help.

Was the car in Ready mode in both cases? Not a 12V problem?

Ready mode on, no 12V problems. Same conditions in both cases.
