I'm in the precess of buying a '07 Prius and confused about the package prices posted in the edmunds.com.

For example: package #1 ($825) is more expensive than #2 ($575) and yet #2 has everything in #1 plus VSC. Also, with so many features bundled in #2, why is it so inexpensive?

Or is edmunds.com wrong? Sorry if this has been asked before.

Are those package prices for a used '07? In any event, I think edmunds.com is wrong (they may have gotten the prices reversed). FYI, package #2 on my '07 Prius had a MSRP of $1,175.

Boo, that would have explained it if #2 costs $1,175. Thanks,

Oh another oddity in package pricing is: #5 is $700 more expensive than #4 for base trim but $800 more for touring! Go figure.

I know Prius' navigation unit has not been receiving a lot of praises but isn't $700 or $800 kind of a bargain. The navi in other cars usually costs at least $1,800, if I'm not mistaken.
