    Some fantastic golf over the last few days but I have to say that after his first few holes of the final round I really didn't hold out much hope of Rory winning but hey he clearly had different ideas :)

    There were a lot of good, quality golf shots by Phil, Ricky, Stenson and Rory. Like you I did not think Rory had a chance until he hit that ridiculous fairway metal shot that gave him the eagle that put him back in the thick of things.

    I had a complaint about putting a spoiler in the title so I just put ****** now :)


    Phil's talent around the green never ceases to amaze me. I watched his youtube video on "hinge and hold" some time ago and I have to say it improved my game noticeably.
    I enjoy watching Phil and Ricky so to have them paired yesterday made for some great entertainment.

    Phil is awesome and one of my favorites. Having said that I love to see Rory just dominating. I hope he keeps winning like Tiger was a while back. I don't need to see a different winner every weekend. I am ok with everyone chasing Rory. He seems to be a really good kid as well.

    Funny as soon as he dumped his GF, he started winning. They will mess you up :). Good thing my wife is not on here.

    As my wise, old father-in-law always said, "powerful stuff". :)

    I saw an article on Rory right after he dumped his GF. The title was his new love. I remember thinking that was awfully fast. The article was about after his romance ended he was able to refocus completely on his golf game and had fallen back in love with golf!

    Definitely a nail biting back nine. It was very fun to watch from the moment the last pairing tee'd off.

    I found myself rooting for the underdog without a major under his belt, Ricky Fowler. I was hoping he'd pull it off, but the back nine didn't work out for him. His hook on the 16th to save par was only second to Rory's fairway wood shot that set him up for eagle.

    This was a perfect tournament to set up for the upcoming Ryder Cup. I have a feeling we'll be seeing amazing golf.
