I was hitting all the buttons on the screen and came across "Sceen Off" on the 'Display' part. Now when I start up the screen is black and when on, no more Consumption screen.

How do I get the screen to go back on at start up?

Please hurry with an answer before my wife sees it and freaks out

Press the "Info" button followed by the Trip Info softkey.

Phewww...thanks all. I did the INFO--> trip Info. Worked like a charm. I looked on the wheel couldn't find info, must be on other packages.

This is handy to know if you're at a place (like the Drive-In) where you want the radio on, but don't want to leave it in "Ready." By turning the display off you'll use less power and can look clever.

I use the Screen Off feature a lot if I'm driving with cruise control on the highway at night - it eliminates the light from the screen when you're not really paying attention to it anyway. -- it really threw me for a loop the first time I tried it though.
