I noticed, a couple of days ago, two persistent cookies on my computer; pclastactivity & pclastvisit, which are from priuschat. I have cleared all cookies, cleared cache, and cleared history. I then close my browser. The next time I open my browser, I do not visit priuschat, yet these two cookies reappear in my cookie list.

Can anyone provide insight as to why these cookies are appearing on my computer, even when I clear them and do not visit priuschat? Thanks --TK

can't tell you why, but I wouldn't worry about them. They simply remember what posts you've read since your last visit so tht when you login you can click "view new posts" and just seen new posts, and so that the icon colors tell you which you've read or not. They're not tracking anything other than that.

You'll have to pardon Tony's somewhat obscure (and bad) sense of humor...it's a line from the Eagle's "Hotel California"...
You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave...suggesting that the PC cookies will follow you and you can't get away from them.

So far no Google translator powerful enough to decipher Tony's sense of humor has been developed and only through years of first had experience have I been able to make inroads to understanding his eclectic nature!:D

One successful translator was built, but the first time it was used the computer exploded and the programmer was killed. Some things are better left alone. Evan has had some success, but remember that he is a trained professional with a medical degree.

If it's any consolation, Tony, I get your sense of humour. And no, I'm not trying to be funny.
