Hello my bypass hose broke off so I need to replace it. I was wondering if I would have to bleed the system after. My Prius is 2010

It depends if you can unclamp and slide that hose on and off pretty quickly then you'll just need to add a little bit of coolant if you are real slow and let lots and lots of water get out because you can't slip the two ends of the hose up pretty quickly still I don't think you'll be doing a full bleed and just be topping up the coolant milking the bottom hose a little bit like you do a cow and that should be about it.

Can I use this instead of the plastic bypass hose?

It's in the engine bay? Can you post a picture, zoomed out enough that you can understand location? Your (geographical) location is Mesa, AZ, USA?

Yeah... People need to describe details way better than this if they want advice... There's so many people who can barely speak in complete sentences thanks to social media. Specifically:

    -- Which Bypass hose?
    -- Which end?
-- What part of the end was broken?
-- What component is the broken part connected to?
