Coolant Pump

I have noticed that my coolant pump is making more noise than what it use to. I remember reading a thread on PriusChat about people complaing about the same thing. If I remember correctly a couple people ended up getting theirs replaced due to it not functioning properly. I took my car into the dealer for my recall and had them check out my coolant pump. They assured me everthing was ok and that it is "normal" for it to make more noise in the winter time. Last winter it always sounded the same. As anyone else experienced this problem as well. It will make a strange noise, then be relatively quite, and then make the noise again, etc.
