Does the prius have courtesy lights or securty lights

eg. At night, if you unlock the doors with the remote at a distance, the cabin and headlighs come on for so long. and when you shut it off, the headlights have delay off so I can walk into the house with some sort of light.

can someone tell me hove to activate this.
    thanks

    Courtesy lights - yes
security lights (aka follow-me home lights) - no.

If you set the dome lamps to DOOR, the interior lights will come on when you approach the car (Smart Key) or unlock ir with the fob (just like most new cars). The default setting is 15 sec fade out delay.

The headlights unfortunately don't have that delay and turn off immediately when the driver's door is opened.

But if you have the Home-Link photochromic rearview mirror, you can set it up to turn on lights from inside your car...

huh? That's for turning on your home lights and you need a Homelink RF adapter

I didn't say how, I just said you could. Depending on what you want to do, for $7 plus shipping you can control lights.

Get all the details at the HomeLink site.

oh.. I thought you said you could use the mirrors to turn on the lights of your car.. which sounded odd and had me confused lol.
