I have a hairline crack (with some starring) on my left rear tail light of my 2006 Prius touring. Can anyone recommend a good glue or compound to patch it up and prevent water/moisture/dirt from getting in there and still stay clear for light to shine through?

I wouldn't go so far as to "recommend" this, but if it were mine, I'd try some simple Super Glue first. If that didn't work, I'd try some rubber cement. Make sure you clean it really well with lighter fluid or alcohol and let it dry before applying.

If you want this repair to last a long time, you could drill a tiny hole at each end of the crack to prevent it from continuing to spread (kayak repair trick).
