Crush Washer for Transaxle Where Can I get non OEM

    Hi

    I need to get a source for transaxle crush washeres for my 2008 prius.
    NAPA has generic ones but needs a mm diamerter.
    After 100k miles change every 30K or 50K?

    Dealer gets 2.50 each. AS some of you know.
    Are GEN III washers the same I see them.

    Those crush washers are cheap, why not just bite the bullet and buy one from them? I reused mine just fine btw.

    Gen 2 drain and fill bolts vary somewhat from 3rd gen. The latter are 2 identical bolts/washers, but on 2nd gen one of the bolts is a lot larger. Per the above, considering how infrequently you'll do this, I wouldn't bother, just pay thru nose at dealership.
