I dont see alot of really young people driving Priuses. I am 26, my boyfriend is 22 and we love ours. Just curious about the average age of the Prius owners.

We were both Mustang owners until recently so its a huge change but its whats needed for our commute these days.

*****I made an error it should say 25-30 not 35-30 but Im sure people will figure that out

One of the oldest existing polls at PC is on this topic. You see it pop up in the rotation of old polls on the home page occasionally. But it won't hurt to do another.

At last report, we had an 87-year-old and a 16-year-old. Don't know if the 16-year-old actually owned his.

There's no question that the age demographic for the Prius is skewed older than Toyota would like. That's why a hybrid Scion wouldn't surprise me.

What's the answer if you're 33? Or where do you answer if you're 40? I suspect your data is going to be flawed.

Error? I like that option! When I turned forty, I started counting backwards, and now I'm only 36!

Yeah, you left out a 30-35 segment. And your intervals should run 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40 (if you're doing 5-year intervals) or 21-30, 31-40, etc. if you're doing intervals of 10.

Why don't you PM a moderator (efusco, tag, TonyPSchaefer) and ask him to take it down so you can start over.

    No, daniel's on vacation. Oops, he's 50-something.

Jayman (since I hope this thread will be scrapped), what actually goes on at your hobby farm. You mention it so often, I must know. And now you come out of the "misanthrope" closet. Are you related to Hannibal Lecter?

Note to Jayman: Grumpy? What, the Prius chick magnet has lost its attraction?

Note to Galaxee: To me, 'DH' stands for Da Hubby.

Maybe there is hope for me in trading in for a newer model

On a sie thought, have you noticed in TV abd the movies the obsession with pairing older men with younger women? And does anyone really believe that Sean Connery can score a 20 something? Or that Regis Philben (sp?) is attractive to that cute blonde who is his co-host?

I find it very odd, JMHO though.

What goes on: nothing, actually. My nearest neighbor is almost 2km away down the road. I drive in, close the gate, padlock it, and just unwind.

I like to piddle around with the tractor, though it hasn't been a "working" farm in perhaps 10 years. I like rebuilding old Holley spread-bore carburettors, because they are finicky and require patience.

What it offers the most - and this is priceless to me - is solace from an imperfect world.

No, not that bad, no skeletons in my closet, thanks. I just have a general mistrust of people, though the few friends I have I would quite literally trust with my bank account numbers. And vice versa.

Actually, being a misanthrope in no way prevents me from getting laid. For some reason lonely, bored middle-aged housewives are attacted to me. Which suits me just fine!

Yes, and the scuttlebutt is that young actresses are getting tired of drawing Jack Nicholson, Robert Redford and Harrison Ford as their male leads.

It's another by-product of older men being able to continue to be accepted for what they are, but most actresses being thrown on the scrap heap after menopause, if not before.
