From time to time, I like to visit Las Vegas, Old Town. Like a comfortable pair of old jeans and shirt, Binions and the Fremont Street casinos are familiar and frequented by locals. So I decided to try the Wyndham Vacation Club scheduled for December:
    • Three nights at their designated property
      • Located 6 miles from Old Town, it means daily commutes through Las Vegas traffic.
      • Pay for Old Town parking.
      • Another Wyndham property 1.5 miles away could not be used
        • Offered for three nights: $165.00
    • Costs: $264 for three nights
      • $199 - for the offer
      • $65.28 - for "taxes"
So I'm thinking I'll add three nights before the "Vacation" pitch. When I (politely) attend, I'll share what I paid before their pitch as well as the amenities. I already know their pitch won't work because they have no, EV charging on their properties.

After visiting Las Vegas, I like to visit my Aunt in Los Angles and brothers in Arizona. My Tesla will be a proper "RV tent car" and I'll bring my dogs to stay in the "Kar Kennel." With the rifle, I might get to do some long distance target practice.

I've already mapped the trip out, 1,800 miles costing $92 in fees. I may stay overnight in Amarillo TX or Albuquerque NM. Two, 16 hour, Full Self Driving days to reach Las Vegas. Thereafter, what ever strikes my fancy.

Sounds amazing and fun. Should be an enjoyable trip. I don't envision 16 hr days in my future even with FSD.Don't think my body could take that without lots of stretching. I'd love to take a escape from the world trip like that but provider duties call and the rat race circles on.
In retirement perhaps. Enjoy Bob! Godspeed.
