Current Draw while parked and in "Ready"

    So I use my car as a "work truck" and part of my duties involves stopping at a number of houses(8-12) for 5-15 min at a time and then driving 2-6 miles to the next house.

    What is the "tipping point" of efficiency in time elapsed between leaving the car in ready mode and turning the car off?

    I often ride a three hour ferry that I leave the car in Ready while I run the stereo, and heat or ac. This will lower the average mpg reading by 3 mpg. A few longer slowing to stop procedures and I am back up before the end of the tank. I think it is negligible.

    With nothing on (no AC, no radio, no fan, etc), it is about 1A.
