Cut-outs in carpet under front seats???

    Sorry if this has been covered. I searched and didn't find anything.
    Anyway, I was in the back seat for the first time....applying a window decal--get your mind out of the gutter! And I noticed that under both of the front seats is a cut-out design in the carpet. Seems kind of a tacky thing since you can see it sitting in the back seats.
    Anyone know what it is???

    It's where the NAV DVD system and JBL Amp would go if you have them.

    If you don't have them, you still have the same carpet with the cutouts for them. They don't make two (or rather 4 I guess) different carpets.

    I just got my car yesterday and noticed the cutouts this morning! Thanks for the clarification. Does this mean you can add a NAV system on later if you didn't buy package #6?

    I just looked and the carpet under my driver's seat has some small flaps cutout as well. FWIW, I have pkg#6/BC on my 2005 Prius
