Dallas columnist a happy classic driver

    A happy Prius driver, five years later

    Okay, I agree with him about my Prius saving me money in this era of $3.50 gasoline. (I live in central TX.) I'm surprised he only has 62k miles on his classic after 5 years. I put 26k on mine after 15 months. His economic analysis is questionable, since he only lists dividends and not (more realistic) profits from the rise in the stock price. It's still a nice read from middle America. That's why I posted this here. Enjoy.

    Before the age of the Internet, I used to subscribe to the Dallas Morning News (the hardcopy version). Scott Burns' column in the Business section was always a favorite read. He has a way of explaining complex economic data in terms laymen like me can understand.

    I'm glad to see that he's plugging for plug-ins... (pun intended)
