Funny thing too...It freaked my wife out! The ICE ON/ICE OFF. LOL

What a fun car! Gotta learn all about the NAV now.

You know...that SKS thing...it's really neat man.
I found myself digging my keys out here and there and then had to think "oh yeah, I don't need those" B) TOO COOL!

I was giving it commands (don't have em memorized yet) and uh...well...I better go read some more. LOL ;)

Thanks everybody here! It really helped seal the deal.

    Aaron

    Oh Yeah...the name.........."Sparky".

And the NAV............"Bitchin Betty" (that's what we used to call the voice in the F-16 Fighting Falcon...."warning..warning", "pull up, pull up" LOL
I was a Crew Chief on it and the Stealth Fighter in the USAF (8 years). Good time!

Yeah, I remember having to get used to the key thing but now it's second nature. All you need is to have the key on you somewhere and the car is happy. You also really have to work at it to lock your keys in the car. It hasn't let me do so yet :)

I have mine set for the doors to trigger the lights... all I have to do is get CLOSE with the keys and my car lights up. It has spoiled me.

    ^_^

    (mines an '05 though)

    Congrats on the new car.

I'd be surprised if they changed it. It works on my '05 if the inside lights are set to "Door". When you walk up to the side of the car, the lights fade on. It really anthropomorphizes the thing (as if we need any more of that); it makes you think that it's getting excited about being driven.

Oh, ok, maybe it was doing it and I didn't notice (daylight, gonna go run and see now)

I did set it to unlock all doors. I'm making progress.

It is ok to take the Prius into the house the first night, but if you let it sleep in the middle, that's kinky. :p

Congrats on the new car. I love that feeling when you first get it. You can't stop looking out the window (or garage) at it. Want to go run errands...

XLR8, do what... err.. ok, I hope I get the name right. I believe it's Brian from LA? He installed underbody neons and hooked it up to the dome lights so they also come on when the dome lights come on when you approach the car!

Nice going on the F117! You've got the best of both worlds land and air! I spent six hours playing with it in the driveway just before Christmas '03, still love it! Congrats XLR8!

    Good on you, Aaron! Enjoy!

Damn, Crew Chief on a Stealth? I'd like to hear more about that, at your convenience. I'm probably going to put up another "conversation" thread tomorrow for this-and-that stuff.

Thanks imntacrook! (lol on the name)

Yeah, the F117 was fun, pain in the butt for some of the maintenance though. (working with the RAM-Radar Absorbent Material)

I crewed "The Dragon" - test jet. Got to see some neat places.

And, like you, I'll be spending some time with "Sparky" over the next few days and then some of course.

Now I know why you guys are all nuts about your Prius's.

    Thanks again,

    Aaron
