Dash Display problems

    My 2007 Prius' dash display (not the touch-screen) will sometimes not engage when the car is turned on. All functions work (climate, radio, turn signals etc.) and when driving the car, all systems work except the display. After driving for a short period and then upon putting in "Park", the Power button will not disengage the fob, so the car continues to run.
    The local dealer has replaced both the Power switch & another relay, but niether have corrected the problem. It happens intermittantly and even while at the dealer for the last diagnostic. Everyone's scratching their heads, but I'm getting ready to do more than scratch....Any ideas out there?

    The computer BUS is overloading itself. Do you have any aftermarket accessories plugged into the computer or radio?

    Your dealer should be looking at replacing the MFD brain first of all.
