Dash Mat

    Howdy. I want a dash mat for my '05 with tan leather interior. The dashboard color is, of course, that blueish grey.

    Has anyone ordered a really well made dash mat for their Prius? Did you get the carpet type fiber, or the velour material? What color works? Smoke?

    Cost isn't a big issue. These products aren't expensive. I just want the best.

    I made the mistake of buying the velour type in light tan. I just layed it on the dash to try it before installing it. Left it over night and the next morning at the start of my commute the glare was horrible. I removed it and never installed it. If you get one get a dark color. i settled for a long handled duster and forgot the dash mat.

    Thanks for your feedback, seasalsa. Anyone else have an observation on dash mats?

    where did you find one? I ahve been looking for one...dark color for sure....
