Dashboard Failure

    I have a 2004 Prius. Recently I turned on my Prius and the car turned on, a "check battery" light flashed and then disappeared, and then then the dashboard went completely black. My display screen is still on but dimmed, and I can use my turn signals, but the odometer, mileage, etc., on the dashboard is all black. Any advice? Do I need to replace the battery? Thanks!
