data port location?

    Just curious to where the data port is located in the prius c?

    Usually they are under the dash in the wheen area, on my acura it was behind one of the ash trays, reason i ask is i have a bluetooth dongle that plugs into it for my gps.
    and it was annoying with the acura as it didnt fit in there, so i had to move the data port.

    Nope, I reached down and found it in just a second. Basically in the same spot as most cars

    yes the c is obd-II... not sure what else it would be.

    I thought I read something about CANOBD and wasn't sure if that was a new type diagnostic port.

    CAN is just high speed networking within OBD-II system. still obd-II but the multiplexing and local networking of tons of computers are all linked together in a high speed network now.
