Well I just found out I have a DC converter failure.. I am at 230k miles on a 2011 mark III. Am I still eligible for warranty or am I screwed? I read somewhere that there is a lawsuit about defective inverters that Toyota claimed to fix with a software update, but ended up not fixing.

What are my options here? I'm a 19 year old college student and I can't even begin to afford a repair like this.

    welcome!
there is an imp module recall. log onto toyota owners website and plug in your vin for what is available.

alternatively, you can get a salvage inverter installed for a few hundred shekels.

    all the best!(y)
