At the top of the form my salesman filled out for my Prius "order" (in the space for stock # I think), he wrote "T-order". I was wondering if this might be the Gulf States Toyota equivalent to the preference order that I've seen Dianne and Jabber mention? Has anyone heard of this?

I'm trying to wait through a couple of allocations to see if he gets what I want before looking elsewhere (he does appear to have more Prius than the other dealers here), but I'd feel better knowing for sure that he's playing straight with me. :)

No such official designation. A guess of mine would be T=dealer trade and order=preference.. 2 seperate things.

Yes it sounds like a local designation. It's not one that I've run into in Toyota's terminology.

Thanks, guys. I like the idea that maybe it means he looking into both a trade and ordering. I'd ask him, but I've already emailed him twice since I put dowm my deposit Friday, so I'm trying to leave him alone for a little while. :)
