That's RIGHT, girls and boys, Santa contacted us to say he was taking time out of his busy schedule to consider what PCers REALLY wish they could have for Xmas. One of his elves told him that, next to the Sisters of Mercy, those who drive Priuses (or soon will) are the NICEST of any single group--- to the environment he has to drive his sleigh through, and for reducing their countries' dependence on that nasty ol' oil.

So, even if you haven't told your S.O./family what you'd like, because it's too expensive, or impractical, here's your chance. You never know what still might appear to your wondering eyes on the 25th.

Besides, could it hurt if you left your post showing on your computer when you're not around? :)

    OK, Santa, you asked:
    • A Squeezebox
    • A subscription to MAKE Magazine. The Popular Mechanics for the new Millenium!
    • An entire box of ZenBoy Salt Caramels.

Some sort of add-on for my Prius that would give me some serious power, while still getting 55 mpg.

Actually, I should have pointed you at "Zen Boy Chocolates" -- that will get you a few hits.

They're a very small, very local chocolate company in Seattle, and currently don't have a web presence (though the owner/chocolatier said their web page is supposed to be going on-line this week.)

All their stuff has been great, but their masterpiece (as far as I'm concerned) are the salt caramels: thin strips of caramel, surrounded by dark chocolate, and sprinkled with grey sea salt.

Mind-alteringly good. I'm giving gift boxes of them to friends, under the slogan "The first taste is free!" :D

Well, you could justify it if you leave the medical profession and become a private detective.

If there were any justice, and a Santa Claus, you would have this in your driveway on Dec. 25th, Danny.

You know, I sat around thinking about this, for my mom called me up and asked me to give her an idea for what I wanted for Xmas.

Truthfully, I couldn't come up with a single thing.
