Definitive identification of aux-capable radio?

I've been looking through the threads regarding iPod integration and gathering a lot of great information. The local Toyota dealer sold us the Toyota iPod Integration Kit and installation...but then called to say that the Toyota kit *only* works with the top-of-the-line radio

So I'm looking at the Vais unit, and the open question seems to be if my radio has the aux/CD controller port (?). Is there any definitive means of identifying if the radio is a 'base' unit that doesn't have this? I'm pretty sure I have a "Package #2" car.

Sorry to rehash - I did do a thread search but didn't catch a specific answer on this.
