Dice in prius 2007 ????

    Is anyone out there using a Dice unit in a 2007 Prius with just plain stock cd/radio ? What are your dice switch setting for all 4 toggle switches ? I have my at up, down,up,up, and I have no control with steering wheel or radio mfd.

    What does it say on the screen? CD2/MP3?

    Do you have a satellite radio kit? Have you tried setting the switches to DOWN/DOWN UP/UP?

    The screen is displaying, cd changer, there are 1...to ...6 number blocks, the screen I have no control over at all. One time I pushed #6 block and title [ it showed dice v1.4]. Is one of the old problem firmware ?

    So when you have the DIP switches UP/DOWN UP/UP it does not say mp3 in smaller letters next to the CD2?

    with the switches up/down,up/up. There is a dc changer in the upper left corner and no where in the display is there a cd2 or mp3. Just to be sure the car config switch is up/down and i-pod config switch is up/up.

    Ah. Press the CD button again til you go back to the iPod and see if the text appears then.

    which cd button are you referring to ? I have no control from my mfd or the wheel. My stereo is just am/fm with single play cd,if that helps.

    The button that I use to select what is playing is on the steering wheel and it goes like this ....AM....FM1...FM2....CD.....CDCHANGER.......AM....FM1... and so on. Again have I received the latest updated unit with the new firmware or do I have a old unit ?

    Ok I see what you mean...... I just tried that and it just move between cd/player and cd/changer and I have it on cd/changer,still no text or any control from wheel or mfd. I have just sound,no control .

    I am also using the Dice unit in my 2007 Prius and I have problems with it too. It will be working fine, then I go to switch songs (after doing it several times already) and I lose the controls on the stereo and steering wheel. So annoying! The only way to get it going working again is to reset the unit: power down my stereo, turn off the car, unplug the cable from the Dice unit for about 30 seconds, plug it back in and then start everything up again. My IPod config switches are in the Dice Mode (both off or up).

    Does anyone else have this problem?

    I'm at work now, so can't get to numbers on the unit but I purchased the unit through the priuschat shopin April through Danny. What do I need to do tomorrow and get this unit replaced ?

    Hello Sokdum....I did all that at one time and still didn't fix problem, I think we have firmware problem with the dice unit.

    Well no. You're actually using it in the wrong mode. 2006's and 2007's should use MP3 mode or SAT. Try unplugging the module from the car, and setting it to UP/DOWN UP/UP for Mp3 or DOWN/DOWN UP/UP for SAT. See which one you like better.
