Dice IPOD interface on 2007 Prius

    I ordered the Dice IPOD interface unit for my 2007 Touring. Can someone provide some instruction how to install it? where did you ran the ipod cable to?

    Yes, that's what I used for my installation.

    As for where to run the iPod cable, it's up to you. Some have put a hole in the back of the compartment under the radio to keep the iPod there. Others ran the cable in order to have the iPod in the "secret" compartment in the center console. I simply keep my iPod (when it isn't with me) in the lower glove compartment.

    Just download the instructions that BobR posted. Basically you remove the lower glove box and the A/C vent cover to the right of the MFD. There's also a block of wires, but all you have to do is remove the screw holding it in place. With that out of the way you should be able to run your arm behind block and reach the connecter at the back of the radio. You can mount the DICE unit anywhere you want to; I put it behind the far right A/C vent cover (it's in the lower right corner of the picture).
