DICE only shows asterisks in display *

    Playing back the DICE in my '07 pkg 6, I get only an asterisk on screen instead of the song title. Used to get titles, but not any longer. No titles, artists, etc... Every screen either reads, "DICE" or "*".

    Using it in SAT mode (no SAT installed).

    Any ideas?

    I can answer your question but what is DICE???

    RE: song titles. Its up to the CD publisher to include titles when producing the CD. Some do not.

    However, if you are burning your own CD's from iTunes (or similar) you can include the titles. Go into edit>preferences>advanced>burning and check 'Include CD text'.

    Ah... DICE is the little black box that connects an iPod to the SAT or CD input on the Prius stereo. Mine is connected via the SAT as recommended by the manufacturer.

    Dig out the instructions and check the switches. Mine got messed up and I had to try and figure out which ones went up and which down etc but finally got the song titles to show again.
