DICE problems

    I installed DICE last Saturday on my 04' Prius.
    When I first connected it to the MFD all worked fine, I got text, could change playlists, albums, the works!

    After putting the car back together, the MFD stopped working (not responsive to keys, not showing any info, etc.).

    I disconnected the DICE unit and reconnected it, and now it's working in "reduced functionality" (tried to disconnect and re-connect several times and didn't get any different result).
    What I mean is that in the 6cd changer, only the 1cd icon is enabled. I can listed the music from the iPod and change tracks, but I no longer see the music meta (artist, title) nor the time, the track number is not in sync, etc.

    Does anyone have any advice?

    I did just that today, but only playing around with the dip switches fixed the problem:

    a. DICE mode -> iPod mode
    b. powercycle
    c. iPod-> dice mode
    d. power on

    now all works fine, but I placed the dice unit in a location more easily accessible because I feel I will need to do it again in the future.

    Do you think you could be more specific regarding your instructions? My dice worked fine, but then stopped displaying song titles (and could not be controlled from the steering wheel), and then, after changing the DIP switches (as suggested on this forum), stopped working completely. (I of course changed them back...)

    I have a 2005 with no CD changer, so now I can at least use my single CD again ;)

    That's now happened a couple of times, so I've installed the DICE unit in a position where I can reach it easily.
    All I have to do is to unplug it from its connector and plug it back in (i.e. powercycle it).

    I have a simmilar problem except the whole NAV,Climate,audio, and all steering wheel controls stop working sometimes not consistant at all and the screen reads external system not connected. OUCH!!!!!
