    STILL the Prius c is not on toyota.com under the hybrid section. The PHV has been for quite a while. cs are now being delivered to customers and yet aren't on the website...

    They may be waiting until the "official" release date that has been bandied about by some salesmen, March 12.

    I believe March 5th was the "soft" release date, presumably because not all dealers would have inventory for sale by then. March 12th will be the full, national launch.

    Depending on how my wife feels about it I might check to see if there's anything available around here to test. But, her weekends are a bit busy right now and she's not quite* as enthusiastic about testing it as I am.

    * Understatement

    Even though the launch is the 12th all of the dealerships that I have called just to test drive won't have cards in till the 24th.

    That's not at all surprising. In fact, my best friend was a Toyota mechanic for 14 years. (just quit a few weeks ago when he got a better job) but he used to laugh all the time about how the employees at a dealership wouldn't be told about new products until about 3 weeks after they started showing up on the trucks at the dealership. He said they'd drive a new model off of the truck and the employees would be scratching their head saying "what is that?"

    toyota.com is a terrible website. their effort in internet tech was obvious in the pip pre order fiasco.

    It's not that bad, it's Flash-free. Even if there are other deficiencies, they're ahead of some other auto manufacturers in that regard (now, if they stopped force-redirecting phones and tablets to the mobile site, then all would be good on that front).
